Cheery Lynn January 2017 New Release Blog Hop - Bohemian Collection!

Hi crafty friends and welcome to the Cheery Lynn Designs January 2017 Blog Hop featuring the new Bohemian die collection!  I am excited to show you three of Cheery Lynn's gorgeous brand new dies in action!

If you arrived from Debbie's blog you are on the right track.  If not, you can head back to the main Cheery Lynn blog HERE and start from the beginning.  Make sure to leave a comment on the Cheery Lynn blog for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate.

Out of all the new dies I was probably most curious to play with the Hippie Heroine.  She's so fun!  She has beautiful and unique details and she could work on cards for almost any occasion.  I colored her with distress inks and glued her to a piece of kraft card stock which peeks beneath the details in her hair.  She is popped up with foam tape underneath.

As much as I was thrilled with the Hippie Heroine, I'm a flower girl at heart and was over the moon to ink up these new Mehndi Botanicals.  One of the details that makes these flowers amazing is the score lines on blue-green flower.  It makes accordion-folding a breeze.  The dimension and pierced details on the petal and leaf edges are also gorgeous and whimsical.

The yellow flower was shaped with a stylus tool.  It has so many petals which creates a very full flower.  The cute little orange flower was created by stacking two smaller dies from the flower set.  The new Indie Border die, backed with patterned paper, added just the right amount of interest and balance underneath.

Thanks so much for joining me here on the hop!  Your next stop is Amy's Blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment on the main Cheery Lynn Designs Blog for a chance to win $20 towards Cheery Lynn Designs goodies!

Jenny such a beautiful card. Love the way you colored the hippy heroine. Your flowers are so vibriant and beautiful. I like the way you put one of the flowers in her hair. The detailed leaves and border really add to it also.
