Cheery Lynn Thank You

Hi!  Today I decided to challenge myself by creating a card using mostly scraps.  I found the pink and gray papers in my scrap bin along with these flowers and once my colors were set, the card came together.

I trimmed the pink papers and backed them with a black mat before adhering it to a 5.5" card.  The gray circle was a scrap from a Halloween card I made and was already cut using a Cheery Lynn Classic Circle die.  I popped it up with double sided foam tape.  The pin flowers were created using probably my favorite flower dies, the small and large Gardenia's.  The larger one has a fine shimmer from a glitter spray.  The edge of the yellow Tea Rose was dipped in a dark pink ink pad.

To complete and complement the flowers I added white branches and black flourishes.

Cheery Lynn Blessings

Hi, I'm back today with a new card using some of my favorite colors.  The peach color is a little more pink in real life.  I was short on time but a beautiful background die and a good color combination can turn a simple card into a stunning one.

I started with a slightly larger than A2 pink card base and then layered the Lattice #1 die over a piece of aqua card stock.  I then cut the Cherry Blossoms Branch twice.  I was planning on cutting pink flowers to layer on top of the white stems but I decided to double layer them instead, offsetting them.  I thought the card needed more of the pink for balance.

Last I added the Blessings sentiment on the Horizon Fishtail Banner die which was popped up with foam adhesive.

Cheery Lynn Dream

Hello, today I'm sharing a window card.  I was planning a shaker card but with everything going on inside the window I decided to keep it simpler.  It does have a raised plastic window though.
I cut a circle in the piece of designer paper and sandwiched the plastic between that circle and a piece of thin chipboard in which I cut a smaller circle.  I also cut the Dream word out of the same chipboard before painting it with some new sparks paint.  The mushrooms were backed with white paper and I cut the read tops and mounted them on mushrooms cut out of white.  I added all my elements and adhered the layers together with a strong double sided tape.

I hope you like the result.  Thanks for dropping by the blog today.
